It was announced when Lakers was in Cleveland - "space cadet" and "my favorite martian" were some of the crazy pet names Lakers coach Phil Jackson would call Vlad Radmanovich. When spotlight was shying away from him, Lakers knew it was time for a change and Vlad was pretty open for a change anyway.
Now Vlad goes to the Charlotte Bobcats..
..and here comes Shannon Brown and Adam Morrison.
Laker fans, WELCOME THE NEW BOYS IN TOWN..
ciao, hasta La huego!

LA LAKERS-BOSTON CELTICS finals-level battle
Temperatures never rose above 20 degrees and it was all snow and ice in Boston thursday night. No doubt it was winter in New England.
Yet in the TD Banknorth Garden..
Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics - two of the top teams in the NBA battling for the best record in the league and last year's greatest contenders - turned up the heat in an intense, Finals-level battle. Lakers stood their ground and struck back at the Celtics with a hard-fought 110-109 overtime win.
And I'm sorry to be sOOO subjective on this next part, of course there was Kobe Bryant, who had been brilliant in New York on Monday with 61 points and in Toronto on Wednesday with 36. He was far from great on Thursday, going 10-for-29 from the field, but he was great when the Lakers needed him most: in crunch time.
And as quoted by the Big Ticket KG himself (who was fouled out in the 4th quarter):
"It was very tough to watch," Garnett said. "More than anything, it's frustrating. I never like to miss any games. I've always said if I can walk, I can play. It tells you what kind of days I had.
"We're not here to talk about me, we're here to talk about how we let a good opportunity slip."
As for wanting another opportunity to take on the Lakers again, Garnett left no doubt.
"Hell, yeah," he said, "we're the champs, right?"
For now, yes. But if the Celtics aren't careful, they could get a good look at the Lakers doing a victory dance at Staples Center in June. As for the Lakers, they will spend the next 36 hours in Boston before flying to Cleveland for a game Sunday against LeBron James and the Cavaliers. In that time, they can revel in the fact they are the best basketball team on the planet.

kObe's 61 sets recOrd fOr mOst pOints in madisOn square..
Kobe Bryant has scored 61 points against the New York Knicks, breaking the record for a game at the current Madison Square Garden.
Bernard King had 60 points for the Knicks on Dec. 25, 1984. Bryant surpassed that mark by hitting two free throws with 2:33 left in the Los Angeles Lakers' 126-117 win Monday night.
Bryant shot 19-of-31 from the floor and made all 20 foul shots. He left to a standing ovation with 1:48 to go.
Lamar is not even surprised and had no idea at all about Kobe setting up a record.
